Discovered in 1967, Tanzanite can only be found in Tanzania, which is how it received its name. An extraordinary gemstones, it has been celebrated as "the stone of the 20th century." It is almost impossible not to be amazed by Tanzanite's color: a fantastic deep blue surrounded by delicate hints of purple and red.

The stone is strongly pleochroic: distinct colors can be observed when viewing from different directions, in this case usually blue or violet. This effect contributes to its mystical attraction. While most Tanzanite is heated to intensify the blue color, we leave some crystals in their natural state showcasing the unusual color variations found within each stone.

Tanzanite truly has an unusual, captivating aura and the extravagant color evokes an unconventional elegance. Those who select Tanzanite set themselves apart.
